NAP was established to provide a consistent standard for professional programmers, developers and consultants and others in the computer/IT
industry to convey to the professional community their abilities and talents. NAP is totally independent of any bias toward any particular
operating system, platform, program or computer language.
It is the mission of the National Association of Programmers to promote the economic growth and prosperity of the compuer/IT industry;
to strengthen the American system of free, competitive enterprise; and to represent the common interests of business, industry,
and the professions in the development of sound public policy which promotes economic opportunity for all.
As our association grows and prospers, so grows the impact and involvement of the National Association of Programmers. The Association's
involvement in and support of a myriad of programs, initiatives, issues and organizations will help to bring economic success and an enhanced
quality of life.
